The Apollo 17 Flight Journal

David Woods and Ben Feist

Welcome to this 9 January 2026 release of the Apollo 17 Flight Journal, part of the Apollo Flight Journal series.

Like its companion, the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal, it is intended to be a resource for all those interested in the Apollo program, whether in a passing or scholarly capacity.

This journal is a collaboration with Ben Feist as a parallel project to his interactive website, Apollo17.org, which covers the entire flight of Apollo 17 from launch to splashdown in an interactive audio-visual manner. As a living document, the A17FJ will continue to grow and evolve.

Journals for other Apollo flights are available at the AFJ Portal.
